I enjoy the beautiful atmosphere that you've created and the slightly puzzle-like gameplay. It is my first time playing a game like this so I did skip over some of the story by accident (. _ . )
I did somehow manage to glitch myself between the starting room and the stairs leading up to it. Could that be fixed?
I was not familiar with the Bitsy 3D engine but without a doubt this game has a rather curious aesthetic and the theme is quite nice of someone exploring the house accompanied by the sound of a pleasant rain.
Of course, I can't fully understand what the role of the control room at the end is but I suppose it is a creation of the ghost to control the doors and other things that make the protagonist end up outside in the rain while going for a walk outside , although it may all just be a strange dream that ends in the end as a peaceful dream.
Thanks a lot! Agree - but yeah, making clear 8-bit graphics is really difficult. It was overall just a fun project I created because I couldn't sleep very well at that time. So not much time spent on playtesting or improving the "gameplay".

this game was so cute and i love the whole camera aspect of this game, id love to see this used as an actual game mechanic used to find clues for puzzles or something like that, i feel like it would be really interesting to consider, overall great game!
I'm about to release a little interactive poem in a very similair style and with music of a good friend of mine (@earlchives). It's a way smaller experience though. But stay tuned, i keep making games like this one :)

I loved the visuals! Also, great book recommandation, but I believe the book is only called "Der Astronaut" in German, it's actual name is "Project Hail Mary" :D

A very unique art style and I got a kick out of the quirky humor. The hidden "blue screen of death" joke really got me. I feel like this is how I act and talk when I'm sleep deprived.

Now that I think about it, I think Bitsy 3D could be great for games along the lines of Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker.
